Pet Trusts

A pet trust is a legal arrangement to provide care for a pet after its owner dies. During your estate planning process you can appoint a “trustee”, who is the person you designate to carry out the instructions of the pet trust.  The trustee should be someone you trust to care for your pet after your passing. Attorney Lisa Hill explains a pet trust in her interview on KDUZ 1260 AM’s show “Legal Update”.
