Effective today, July 1, 2019, Minnesota’s new Wage Theft Law goes into effect, except for the provisions of the new law that amend Minnesota Statutes Sec. 609.52 (criminal wage theft and sanctions) which provisions go into effect August 1, 2019.
As of March 21, 2025, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network has issued an interim final rule, that it intends to finalize this year, removing Beneficial Ownership Reporting Requirements of US Companies and US Persons. As a result, there is no longer any requirement for a US Company to file a report with FinCEN.
